Author Visits

Although I left teaching in a classroom to pursue writing books, I love visiting
students and sharing my book with them, both as an author and a teacher, but also
as a fellow writer-
Depending on the what the schools or teachers want, I either read excerpts from the
book followed by a Question-
I have read my book to students at Cairo American College, the Canadian International School of Egypt, and the American International School in Egypt. I also had the pleasure of sharing my book with students in Havenwood Preschool and Padonia International Elementary School in Maryland, U.S.A.

I offer private and group lessons to children aged 7 and up who are being homeschooled in Dahab. I work with official American homeschool curriculum and material (those provided directly from a school district in the States or other programs such as The Calvert School), but I also design individual programs tailored to meet a child’s needs.
My speciality is of course teaching Reading, Writing, and English as a Second Language, but I also offer lessons in Mathematics and Art. Science and Social Studies support is available as well.
